American Energy Group (“AEG,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you submit a community-solar enrollment, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information.

1. Information we collect

• Contact information: full name, email, phone number, mailing address.
• Utility information: utility provider name and your typical monthly electric bill (used to estimate savings).
• Consent record: the timestamp, IP address, browser user agent, and exact text of the disclosure you accepted when submitting the form. This is required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
• Source attribution: if you reached the form through a marketing link, the campaign tag (UTM) is recorded.

2. How we use it

• To enroll you in the community-solar program you selected.
• To contact you by phone, SMS, or email about your enrollment, as authorized in the consent you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• To maintain a defensible TCPA audit trail (contact attempts, opt-outs honored within 10 days).
• To produce internal pipeline and payout reports for our sales team.

3. Who we share it with

• The community-solar program operator and your local utility (only the data the program requires to enroll you).
• Our hosting and database providers (Supabase, Vercel) under standard data-processing agreements.
• Government regulators or law-enforcement if required by valid legal process.
• We do not sell your information.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enrollment records for at least four years (the TCPA statute of limitations). We may keep them longer to respond to disputes or comply with audits.

5. Your rights

• Opt out of communications: reply STOP to any text we send, or email optout@the-aegroup.com. We honor opt-outs across all channels within 10 days.
• Access or delete your data: email privacy@the-aegroup.com. We respond within 30 days.
• Correct inaccuracies: same email above.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access is limited to authenticated AEG staff under role-based controls. We log every change to enrollment records.
